I’m Astireh — an artist and designer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, originally from Iran. With a background in architecture and a passion for interior design, I bring a deep understanding of form, structure, space, and material into everything I create. My architectural training shapes the way I think about light, composition, and the built environment, while my work in hand‑made ceramics and decorative objects reflects a more intimate, tactile, and human scale of creativity.
I am also a wife and mother of two boys, and balancing family life with my creative practice has taught me the value of patience, care, and intentionality — qualities that are reflected in every piece I design and craft. At Astireh Studio, I handcraft cups, butter dishes, tapestries, and other objects with heart and intention, aiming to bring warmth, beauty, and calm into everyday life.
